Retreat Terms & Participation Agreement

By registering for Unbound Retreat, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

1. Retreat Inclusions

Your retreat registration includes:

  • All facilitated retreat sessions and guided experiences

  • Retreat materials and participant resources

  • Accommodation for the selected room type

  • Meals and refreshments as outlined in the retreat program

  • Pre-retreat and post-retreat resources where specified

2. Retreat Exclusions

The following are not included unless otherwise stated:

  • Travel to and from the retreat venue

  • Travel insurance

  • Personal purchases or incidental expenses

  • Optional upgrades, additional nights, or add-on services

3. Payments and Bookings

  • A deposit is required to secure your place.

  • Bookings are confirmed once payment is received.

  • Full payment must be completed by the date specified at the time of booking.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the retreat start date may receive a partial refund, excluding the deposit.

  • Cancellations within 30 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable due to venue and supplier commitments.

5. Transfers and Substitutions

Participants may transfer their place to another eligible participant by providing written notice at least 7 days prior to the retreat start date.

6. Postponements or Changes

If the retreat is postponed due to unforeseen circumstances:

  • Registrations will automatically transfer to the new retreat dates.

  • If participants cannot attend the new dates, a credit valid for a future retreat may be issued.

7. Minimum Participant Numbers

Retreat delivery is subject to minimum participant numbers.
If minimum numbers are not reached, participants will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • Transfer to a future retreat date.

8. Participant Wellbeing and Responsibility

Participants are responsible for managing their own physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing during the retreat.
Participants agree to disclose any dietary, accessibility, or relevant health considerations in advance so reasonable support can be provided.

Unbound Retreat is a professional development experience and does not provide medical, psychological, or therapeutic treatment.

9. Code of Conduct

To maintain a safe and respectful environment:

  • Participants agree to act respectfully toward facilitators and fellow participants.

  • Personal stories and shared experiences are to remain confidential.

  • Organisers reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour compromises the safety or experience of the group.

10. Photography and Media

Photography or short video recordings may occur during the retreat for promotional purposes.
Participants who do not wish to be photographed may notify the organisers in writing prior to the retreat.

11. Travel and Insurance

Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and are encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance to cover personal travel costs, illness, or unforeseen changes.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Unbound Retreat organisers are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property occurring during the retreat, except where required by applicable legislation.

13. Privacy

Personal information collected during booking is used solely for retreat administration, communication, and delivery of services, in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on this website.
